Semiconductor Radiation Testing
French company that
measures, predicts and corrects soft error reliability issues for
semiconductors caused by radiation. Company established U.S. office to
service customers and to increase sales revenue in its four major
markets – high end computing, networking, medical devices and
automotive, which had achieved limited success. Marquis Advisory Group
was engaged by the Board of Directors to analyze the market and provide
a plan for U.S. revenue and market growth. Success was measured, but
labored under resistance by the Board to “risk” investment in the
market and the growth strategy became politicized internally.
Scientific Instruments An
Australian company designing and building complex scientific
instruments for the bio medical arena, is assisted to establish its
principal offices in the San Francisco Bay Area, where it quickly grew.
It ‘flips up’ so as to become a U.S. corporation with a U.S. style
stock option plan for its growing U.S. and Australian group of
employees. Subsequently, it launches a successful IPO on the Australian
Stock Exchange, as a U.S. company with an Australian origin and nexus,
and is later acquired by a multi-national group.
